Welcome to Lost River Ranch

We are a family owned and operated cattle ranch located in Southern Indiana near the tourist town of French Lick. Since 2000 we have been focused on building a strong breeding program that focuses on color, disposition, size, maternal traits, horn and conformation. With the help of Tomey Farms, we started our first herd here in Southern Indiana, We were able to develop two young bulls with excellent pedigree, color, size and temperament who launched our breeding program. Since that time, we have worked hard to make strategic decisions on both heifers and cows through private treaty and industry sales to add females that encompass the traits our customers are looking for. We are very proud of our herd and the calves hitting the ground each year as they continue to get flashier and flashier. Our Texas Longhorns are all registered with ITLA, TLBAA and as Millennium Futurity Partners, eligible to participate in the Millennium Futurities. We also belong to the MTLA which offers locals the opportunity to participate in a wonderful organization that puts on a yearly show for children and adults to show their cattle.
